2009 Volleyball Clinic Series
SESSION 1 - Sunday Night Clinics (Grades 7-8)
CLINIC IS FULL
Date: October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, & Nov 1st - Sunday Nights
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Payes Gym, 595 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070
Quality Class Size: only 24 spots per session
Objectives: Advanced skill development in volleyball attack methods, 4-Step Approach, Arm Swing Mechanics, Transitional Hitting, Line Hitting, Slide Hitting, Tooling, Quick Tempo Hitting, Power Dinking, Roll dumps, Corner Shoots. Mental aspects of leading a team as a Setter, Advanced hand positioning, footwork speed, and footwork placement, Tempo setting, 27-grid tempo, Jump setting, Spin Setting, Core mechanics for "distance setting", power dumps, setting mix and strategies against different opponents.

Open Gyms
Open gyms on Sundays are for players interested in the upcoming club volleyball season. It allows both players and parents the opportunity to get to know the coaches at Payes. It is a great forum to ask questions regarding Payes Club volleyball. It also gives players to ability to socialize with other players that might be interested in playing club volleyball at Payes. The overall social dynamic is positive and a great experience. Hope to see you there!

Payes Performance Summer Volleyball Camp
This camp has a 6:1 ratio so there will be a limited number of spots, so please signup early.
Camp will be held over 4 Sundays

This is an excellent opportunity for players preparing to try out for their school teams in the Fall. Learn new skills, brush up on old ones, get extra touches, play volleyball, and have fun!
Sessions available:
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm - Incoming 5th and 6th Graders - 12 Participants
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm - Incoming 7th and 8th Graders - 12 Participants
Player/Coach Ratio 6:1
Mini-camps are intentionally set into small group sessions for a low player to coach ratio and to provide more personal coaching and feedback.
